Sorry guys that it's impossible to compete with you guys as the lag was crazy out there,, not just net lag,,,but input and graphic lag made it a chore and no fun at all.
Was gonna quit on lap 7 but gave it a few more laps ......The practice sessions were pretty much the same, being in Thailand isn't the gaming hub of the world.
Good news is that I will see some of you in PAC on Wednesdays which has that f14fun vibe about it or in practice online. Sorry about that tap Drew, that was the straw that broke the camels back.....:(
Thank you everyone for letting me join your excellent league it's of a very high standard.:)

Yeah, they've made some pretty good,enjoyable games over the years but some of their programming and testing has a lot to be desired as of late....   >:(

it's a tough one to call really. Totally dry races would probably be a little boring but the comical stuff we saw today can happen, but wasn't so bad graphically at Brazil, (so that's 1-1 plus boring for dry)=dynamic voted.

Yeah, I thought this was listed already in one of the patches but they've only talked about reducing rain.
Race dept  have left notes in the technical/bug section a few times, similar to what we saw today but has yet to receive any reply on this matter ?.
Worryingly the date that's going around the forum for us to get a patch is end of November... :o

Hey guys , was a good practice run yesterday and looks and feels a better game than 2011.
Talked to Macca shortly after and agreed about the shortness of the 'give back place warning' after avoiding an accident,, 7 secs is way too short to stop or slow,,get out the way and for the cars that had the accident to correct themselves and pass,, plus any other fast moving cars that are around as well. It's mayhem in the heat of the all.
7 secs is better than zero I suppose and hopefully that will be increased in a patch ?...stress the hopefully  ;D

Thanks for the welcome Gazza and Macca. Yeah the attitude is good and commitment is there. It's very rare I hit anyone, try to keep my lines in  corners and pretty much get outta the way if I know someone is lapping way faster than me
Prob is I went from full assists to no assists and I'm  pretty crap tbh,(especially wet) but hopefully with a great deal of practice I can get some pace going,,,if not ....TAXI !!  :)

Hi guys, I'm Jon, 43, originally from the UK based in Thailand for the last 12 years.
I'm not very fast with NA but I'm clean and run with the PRL guys who invited me.
If everyone is OK with me joining I would like to try season 2 with you guys in
f1 2012.
