Downloaded the PC version & played a few hours now.
Quite enjoyable after I found a decent wheel set-up on racedepartment.
Found the Canada bug where the AI all go wide (qualy & race). Should easily be fixed in a patch. Baffling that CM testers missed it though.
The AI are so scared to overtake but Legend AI is extremely quick.
Hard level in Champions mode is pretty easy. Still enjoyable though.
What a track the American circuit is! Going to be very difficult & time consuming to master.

Today was day 1 for me, with the new wheel and the new game had allot of work to do.

My opinion.

The first couple of laps I found an extremely different game from the 2011 and the demo, I was using quick setups, but I wasn't afraid of pushing, the main difference I found is the brakes and understeer, I thought I had some problems with the beake pedals but on time trial I was competitive, so I think that's how the brakes are.

The game feels more like a simulater now, u have to be smooth on the brakes, and brake with a good distance, smooth on the curbs, not touch the grass, this game will take me a while to start lapping consistently.

I'm realy happy with the new game, setups will need allot of work, but the good part is that setups are not crazy like they used to be in 2011.

Graphics +
AI +
Driving feel + not the understeer tho.

I'm a happy man :)

Good report moss. Good to see a fast racers level headed report on a game. I've heard a lot of negativity so far which has dowered spirits.  But I remembered the same as last years game. I will be puttin in a half day trial tomoro and will be my 1st outing on the game. Will report after maybe with some footage if it's Interestin

Stubbs I never really follow random ppls comments. No matter how good the game is ppl will try to find something to whine about.

Today I raced online at Austin and man what a circuit, even tho my setup was tail happy on high speed corners, I went on quick race and found a good setup for the track. Lovely

Been playing for about an hour now and I have to say that I'm not really that impressed. The graphics and the font and stuff is all great and I think that is greatly improved from 2011....and I do feel that this game really does suit to my driving style completely ....

However, I'm not particularly impressed by the random understeer that I seem to be getting. It seems that I am doing the same thing repeatedly and yet sometimes the car turns and other times it doesn't. Mid-corner even it's like the car is now "off the racing line" and it's stubborn and barely turns.

BTW Moussa, loved you telling Jamie off on RD ;)

Yeah the understeer is overdone. Should be losing a tenth or two, not a second in time for just 1 corner.
